Where remembering becomes medicine
I explore the intelligence of the nervous system, the wisdom of the body, and the power of embodied presence in a disconnected world using breathwork, somatic practice, and neuroscience.
The Problem
We live in a culture of constant output, fractured attention, and chronic stress.
Burnout has become normalized. Disconnection has become invisible.
When we lose contact with the body, the breath, and natural rhythm, we don’t just lose well-being, we lose clarity, creativity, and a sense of purpose.
Reconnection isn’t a luxury.
It’s a prerequisite for sustainable leadership, meaningful work, and a resilient life.
I’m Aubrey Badia Howard
A nervous system & resilience consultant, breathwork facilitator and a somatic practitioner with a background in psychology and embodied healing.
My work bridges nervous system science with ancient, body-based wisdom. Helping individuals and organizations return to a regulated, present, and grounded state from which real change is possible.
I don’t teach performance optimization.
I teach remembrance…how to come back into relationship with the body, the breath, and the rhythms that sustain us.

The Remembrance Method™
My signature method weaves neuroscience and ancient embodied wisdom into practical tools for regulation, resilience, and reconnection in a modern world. Rather than focusing on mindset or productivity alone, this work addresses the biological foundations of stress, attention, decision-making, and emotional resilience, the systems that shape how we think, feel, and relate under pressure.
Stage 1 — Regulate
Support nervous system stabilization by shifting the body out of chronic sympathetic activation (fight-or-flight) and into a state of safety and coherence. Practices include guided breathwork, restorative rest states, and somatic awareness techniques that signal safety to the nervous system.
Stage 2 — Reorient
Once regulation is established, attention and perception can reorganize. Through guided attention, interoceptive awareness, and rhythm-based practices, participants learn to interrupt stress loops and re-establish internal coherence.
Stage 2 — Remember
With the nervous system regulated and attention stabilized, deeper integration becomes possible. Participants reconnect with intuition, values, and purpose, not as abstract ideas, but as felt, embodied signals that guide behavior and leadership.
Stage 4 — Root
Lasting change requires integration. Practices are translated into daily rhythms, leadership behaviors, and team cultures ensuring the work supports not just insight, but lasting physiological and behavioral change.
Work with me
-
I offer this work through an ecosystem of organizational partnerships, private mentorship, group journeys, and retreats. All rooted in a shared method that integrates neuroscience with ancient embodied practices to support sustainable reconnection.
-
I partner with healthcare and care-based organizations, nonprofit teams, and select private clients, including founders, leaders, and high-profile individuals who are seeking grounded, nervous system–based approaches to resilience and sustainable performance.
-
I offer intimate containers for those navigating transition, burnout, or a deeper call toward embodied living; including private sessions, coaching, group journeys, and retreats.
Explore how this work can transform your life
Explore the pathways designed to support regulation, resilience, and reconnection, wherever you’re headed next.
We are being asked to adapt faster than our nervous systems can handle.
No strategy, technology, or productivity system can replace regulation.
The future belongs to those who can:
Stay present under pressure
Make decisions from the body, not just the mind
Work in rhythm rather than resistance
Lead with grounded clarity
This work isn’t about doing more.
It’s about remembering how to be human, while we work, lead, and live in a grounded, embodied way.
